why did you install the kernel-source? Do you want to compile your own
kernel?

If not.

Just download and install the kernel-image.

Hi Marcel,
I have installed a custom kernel on my system, I don't use kernel-image package.
Yesterday wheh I have updated my system with a "apt-get update", apt has
updated the kernel.source package from version "kernel-source-2.6.8-16" to
"kernel-source-2.6.8 2.6.8-16sarge1", but in /usr/src I don't have new kernel source.

What do I have to do for install this update?
Should I recompile the kernel?

Thanks
Marco
