CUPS and samba intergration problem
I got cups working with my hp 5740 (except for a 5min delay between jobs -
that's another problem i still have). Now i'm trying to allow windows users
to print to it via an smb share.
in the cups log, i see this:
get_jobs: resource name '/printers/lpstat -o printers' no good!
This is my smb.cnf:
[printers]
printing = cups
comment = All Printers
path = /var/spool/samba
printer admin = root
guest ok = Yes
printable = Yes
use client driver = Yes
browseable = yes
writable = no
create mode = 0700
print command = lpr-cups -P %p -o raw %s # using client side printer drivers
lpq command = lpstat -o %p
lprm command = cancel %p-%j
