The Open Graphics Project



Have any of you heard of the Open Graphics Project? If so, what do you think of it? What are its chances of success? Does the project represent good ideas and concepts?

I wonder how many people and open source developers will be reluctant to contribute since there is some type of commercial entity and dual licensing involved. Is this project a possible solution to the problem with Linux graphics? Or is a hardware independent standard like OpenGL the way Linux graphics should go?
