Supported printers are not a chore, thanks to cups. You'll want to
install the necessary cups packages (cupsys hpijs), then point your
browser to http://localhost:631/ - you can probably take it from there.

linuxprinting.org tells me that your printer is supported perfectly by
the hpjs driver:
