Had a similar problem, which was solved by including the machine/user 
name in the URL:

smb://[server_name]/[user_name]@group_or_domain/IP_of_server/printer_name

e.g.:

smb://DOZE/Guest@CHASS/HIS-FACLAB/his-fac-lex


...having a Guest account on the windows machine enabled.

You might need to replace HIS-FACLAB with the IP.
