problem installing Kylix 3 Open Ed. on Debian (Sarge)
hi, i decided to try out Kylix, so i downloaded the "Open Edition". the
installation seemingly worked well, but i can't run neigher of the IDEs
(Delphi/C++).
for instance, when running C++ IDE with "startbcb", i get:
/usr/local/kylix3/bin/bcblin: error while loading shared libraries:
libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file
or directory
i have searched the web, but i could not find anything in language i
understand :) i just managed to run the installation again and notice
these two warnings (see below). the problem seems manageable to me,
however i can't fix it on my own. maybe it's just a matter of creating
some symlinks, i don't know. could somebody help?
