Problem seems to occur when a app wants full-screen mode. Screen goes black and escapes such as control/BSP, control/alt-F1, etc., do not work. Only way to get out is the reset button. Thank G-d for journaled file systems. Any fix? xorg.conf generated from XF86Config-4 by installation.
