Has anyone managed to get a Virtual PC instance on Mac OS X to
boot one of the stock 2.6 kernels? My instance boots up without
issue on a 2.4 kernel, but there's an immediate oops when trying to
use either the current 2.6.8 or 2.6.11 kernels from the repository.
The last lines that display on bootup with a 2.6 kernel are:
[...]
Booting 'Debian GNU/Linux, kernel 2.6.11-1.686 '
[...]
Using the 2.6.*-386 kernels instead of 2.6.*-686 kernels works for me
on Virtual PC 7.0.2, for anyone else who might need to know.
