Debein-newbie-Partlly SOLVED.
Hi list,
MANY Yhanks to those that offered advice.
1)By scanning in all cd's form number one to whateever a must..and not from two.
2)borrow config file fom knoppix is a good one and it works.
some commands..
base-cnfig
tasksel
..to remember.
Fine now I do have a grph interfac. bat my mouse is not moving..maybe I ccan borrow config from knoppix>
I have these Netscoll eye from Genius optical mouse.
Maybe some hints/borrrowing may get it going.
