BT848 TV Tuning Problems

Hi,

It's been great checking out the Digital TV setup's on Linux of late but I'm
still not able to get my PixelPlay Pro TV card to work.

It really should be quite simple using the BT848 chipset, however; I just can't seem to tune any
channels.

I've tested that there is signal available and have seen the card work on Windows very recently.
The image works fine, I've tested using Austar Cable TV under Linux, but tuning free-to-air TV via
aerial is no joy.
Both Tvtime and Xawtv pick up nothing using PAL and Australia selected.

I hope if I show the commands I'm using someone may see where I am going wrong and can point me in
the right direction.

I'm sure I have the right settings as I've checked the list and Googled plenty:

usr/src/linux/Documentation/video4linux/CARDLIST.bttv
card=37 - Prolink PixelView PlayTV pro

usr/src/linux/Documentation/video4linux/CARDLIST.tuner
tuner=5 - Philips PAL_BG (FI1216 and compatibles)

I've also played around with modules

modprobe tda7432
modprobe tda9887
modprobe tda9875
modprobe msp3400

These seem related as they appear in the syslog as errors, their task is also 'tuning' related.

Been stuck for weeks now, any got any ideas?

Thanks.
Regards,
Rudi.
