Hi Maurice,
first you need to have 'sid' or 'unstable' lines in your source list.
so copy a 'stable'/'testing' line and replace it with 'unstable'.
Next you need to run 'apt-get update' or 'aptitude update'...
then you can install a package from unstable.
BUT it depends on what you machine runs.
If you run stable, you will need to tell apt to get the
package from unstable and not from stable.
apt-get -t unstable install mutt
this will install mutt from unstable.
One warning: this can lead to many system problems, use it carefully and
wisely!
