I have:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 24 2005-06-17 16:36 /usr/bin/rename ->
/etc/alternatives/rename
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 2005-06-17 16:36 /etc/alternatives/rename ->
/usr/bin/prename
And prename does exist.
It's from perl 5.8.7-3
Not sure how yours got broken though. Perl is definitely still
installed right?
