Sitebar on Sarge installation bug?
Dear all - I have this strange issue when trying to install sitebar on
my new Sarge system.
'apt-get install sitebar -s' will give:
The following NEW packages will be installed:
apache2-common apache2-mpm-prefork libapache2-mod-php4 sitebar
ssl-cert wwwconfig-common
But my system already runs apache. From the Debian site the dependencies
for Sitebar are: apache2 or httpd. The latter is provided by apache, if
I am right.
I came across the same when setting up squirrelmail. I wonder, is there
something broken in my installation, or am I missing a (vital) point here?
Other thing I notices when setting up Sitebar on a test system (which
runs apache2), is that the installation breaks. This seemd to be related
to rights on the /usr/share/sitebar/inc directory, required to write the
config.inc.php file. When I edited this file manually, things did work.
Thanks a lot!
