aMSN

I have installed the package of aMSN (via downloading the .deb package and the installing via dpkg -i aMSN). Though it is located in both the debian-apps-net aMSN and internet aMSN, the latter did not have an Icon (I set one), they both seem to point to a slightly different place (The former to /usr/bin/amsn and the latter to simply amsn). They both do not work. It will attempt to load, then, after around half a second, the little icon on the panel (some one please give me the right terms for that) will go away with nothing happening. However, in KDE system guard, it lists aMSN as running. What is wrong?

In addition, the first time I ran it (I. E. after having installed it the first time), it worked ish.... The fonts were very small and mal-formed. Also, it stalled (and has not worked since) since I tried to create an identity (or some such thing).

So, what can I do?

Thank you in advance.
