Gnome File Association
Dumb question, I'm sorry!
I want to associate files and application. according to Gnome Help I go
to Applications → Desktop Preferences → Advanced → File types and
programs.
Trouble is there is no "File types and programs" icon.
A search of synaptic turned up that it's installed in the capplets
package which is already installed on my system.
So, if it's installed why can't I get to it?
Is there an easy way to do this?
