ATI 7000 IGP 3D
Hello to you all!
I have bought recently a Toshiba A60-122, that has a ATI 7000 graphic chip.
I'm tired of trying, and searching the web for ways to get 3D
acceleration running....
Tried all kind of distros: Ubuntu, Kanotix, you name it... been
there.... done that....
Is there anyone that REALLY has this going on?
I'm actually with Kanotix 2005-02 distribution (great distro btw, so
congrats to Kano!).
There is a script for Radeon graphic cards in Kanotix but it does not
support my chip.
I have read that ATI is still building the linux drivers for this chip
but.... I never know... I'm might get luck....
I love ATI and I was not thinking on changing for a laptop with Nvidia
chip (not that I don´t like it but, I don't have the money right
now... :P ).
Thank you all for your attention!
Best regards,
