GCC 4 built with Cairo??

Hmm.  I was just reading the debian changes from gcc-4.0, after installing it 
from experimental, and I noticed this:

  * Configure --with-gtk-cairo only if version 0.3.0 is found.

So I'm wondering.... what does cairo have to do with GCC?
