Hi Munhie, 
I'v had some problems before, but did not actually find a solution.
When I used gnome I only had sound as root, but when I changed to kde,
sound worked normally.
As I said, I don't bring any solutions but check these things:
 - Does sound work as root? If so you can try to add your user(s) to
the group audio.
 - If you are using gnome, try kde!
 - Run this command:    ' cat /proc/interrupts '. Shows what occupies
which IRQ's on your system. If the audio-card is sharing an IRQ, post
here again, with the output of the file/command.
