All I can tell you is that Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9 (
http://www.giga-byte.com/MotherBoard/Products/Products_Spec_GA-K8NF-9.htm )
definitely works with Debian sarge with 2.6 kernel. You will need to get PCI or
PCI-Ex video card since it does not support AGP. I believe we had some minor
issues during install but nothing that can't be resolved quickly. Other than
that it's a good MB for Linux/Debian.
