I'm sorry, I should have elaborated. I didn't mean that the
web browser is where the problem stops and ends; lots of
things feed into the web browser, such as -- as you guessed
-- your locale, and your fonts, and so forth. But the web
server has nothing to do with it, as far as I know.
Perhaps I'm wrong here. I'll let others chime in. But at the
very least, you shouldn't worry about the other packages
that Debian says it needs.
