| Try this link. I have a Radeon 9550 and it works brilliantly.
| (brilliantly is the biggest word I used :-) ). Follow the instructions
| and off you go.

| thanks alot for ur reply in fact i saw that site and i was scared as
about 70% of it i didnt understand :) anyway i did as u told me and i
followed the steps.

Hi Hossam,
the file libGL.so.1.2 is also in the package xlibmesa-gl and this causes
the problem.
try dpkg -i --force-overwrite fglrx-driver_8.10.19-2_i386.deb and it see
if that works.
The reason you can install fglrx-kernel-src_8.10.19-2_i386.deb with no
problem is that it is a different package from the fglrx-driver package
and does not contain the same files. What Flavio has done is fix the
problem that exists with the normal fglrx drivers that you get from the
ATI website.
