Right, just a few points.
/etc/X11/XF86Config-4 is the file you want; for historical reasons (X3)
XF86Config exists as well but I wouldn't recommend using it. Your dpkg
output confirms you are using X4 so ignore /etc/X11/XF86Config entirely.
embedded video cards are still nominally PCI or AGP; you don't have to
do anything different for them.
The section marked
####################################################################
/var/log/XFree86.0.log
...looks like the output of lspci!
life would be much easier for me if you'd attached rather than inlined
the files :)
Try dropping DefaultDepth to 8; if that works try 16 (it might be your
card can't do 24/32 bit)
Did you definitely include /var/log/XFree86.0.log?
