Hmm, apt-cache search ntp shows, amongh otheres:
ntp-simple - Network Time Protocol: daemon for simple systems

ntpd is a client, as well as (potentialy) a server. ntpdate is a one time
variant of ntp. You'd have to set itup in cron to come close to keeping
time in synch.
Not familar with chrony.
