Daniel, you have the boot.log since you have installed the bootlogd daemon. As you know this is not the same thing output in dmesg.I researched some time ago having your same requirement and there was no solution !!! :( :(
Maybe looking in more detail to the docs of bootlogd could help us ? HTH, Bob
