Xserver questions
I just installed my first Debian box. After configuring X, when I type
"startx" Gnome starts. Gnome works fine but I want to start KDE. I then
created a .xinitrc file within my profile with the commands "exec startkde".
Now when I hit startx the screen goes black but the monitor stays green.
Here are a few questions that I have:
1. By default how does the x server know to start Gnome, and how can I start
KDE instead?
