apt-get timeout through MS proxy
I've done an install of Debian Sarge using a net install CD. The ONLY
way to access the Internet from this LAN is through an MS Proxy using
a fairly slow link. I have set and exported the proxy details.
apt-get update finds various sites but times out on downloading
headers.
The apt-get man files mention TIMEOUT but don't explain how to specify
it. Could someone please let me know how to set the time-out of apt-
get to a large value to tyr and overcome this problem.
