Re: usb drivers occupying several irq's



Your USB devices seem to be sharing  IRQs quite happily. What are the
signs of conflict you are seeing?
Also, if you are not using them, these devices are not putting any
Requests on these Interrupt lines so they are not really using any
resources.
The drivers are in fact enlarging the kernel a little but some distros
don't even let you rebuild the bloated kernel without voiding the
warranty (RedHat Enterprise).
If you have these USB drivers built as modules you could try rmmod on
each in turn to see if you can live without it.
