Re: Acrobat 7.0 for linux is out

acroread and generic pdf viewers have different uses:

When you are working on a latex document, viewing it as a
"work-in-progress" it is much better a lightweight program like xpdf,
or gv.

When you need to see a produced pdf, with much graphics, like
commercial brochures or presentations, it is better acroread. There is
no way that xpdf can act as a fullscreen presenter like acroread (I
don't mean maximized, i mean that you see *only* the document). I
haven't yet seen any pdf form (my university sends in word .doc !!!!)
but maybe with the spreading of acrobat 7, everyone can use the new
technology. Let's see what happens.
