I can't see any recent posts about 'mpeg2encode' which Image Magick seems to require for creating an MPEG. Does anybody know what the current recommended replacement/alternative for mpeg2encode would be? Or a solution to my actual problem: "how do i create either an mpeg or an avi from a collection of input files (either xwd, gif or mpeg or possible jpeg)"? thanks in adv., -- Michael Bane Atmospheric Physics Group University of Manchester
