Evince is very nice. Also, the soon-to-be-released KDE 3.4 is said to
have a very much improved kpdf reader, though I haven't personally tried
it yet.

Thanks for the suggestion: I have been following discussion of evince onplanet GNOME, and bugged the developers with some suggestions of my own,however I refrained from building it due to dep issues. Glad to see itpackaged for sarge.
