Well, except that it will not show any content hidden under the mount
points. I am assuming that one does not want to unmount the tmp, var or
usr filesystems, or to reboot the system. Of course one can do this in
single user with even less trouble. By the way, you can use a loopback
NFS mount, there is no real need for another machine.
