RAID disk EXT3-fs error (device md(9,0))
Hi There,
I have a drive that looks like is failing based on these messages in the
syslog (There are a lot of them!!- bummer):
Mar 14 06:25:04 server kernel: EXT3-fs error (device md(9,0)):
ext3_readdir: directory #3015790 contains a hole at offset 8192
Mar 14 06:25:04 server kernel: EXT3-fs error (device md(9,0)):
ext3_readdir: directory #3015790 contains a hole at offset 12288
Mar 14 06:25:04 server kernel: EXT3-fs error (device md(9,0)):
ext3_readdir: directory #3015790 contains a hole at offset 16384
This is my raidtab:
raiddev /dev/md0
raid-level 1
nr-raid-disks 2
nr-spare-disks 0
chunk-size 4
persistent-superblock 1
device /dev/hde1
raid-disk 0
device /dev/hdg1
raid-disk 1
(Running Debian woody on this box)
From the log output above, and based on the raidtab.. Am i correct in
saying that the drive that is failing is /dev/hde1?
If that is correct, if i replace /dev/hde1 will the raid sync back
correctly?
Regards and Thanks,
Simon
