I haven't yet played with desktop LCDs much, since my iBook does the job 
nicely.  But I hear there is some way to alter the signal timing/offset with 
analogue LCDs so that the pixel signals match the actual position of pixels 
on the LCD more accurately.  You may want to look into that.
