OK. But what does 'point your machine' mean? Prior to this adventure, I
had a printer plugged into the parallel port of my desktop machine. Now
I don't. What is the name of the pointing software? What package contains
it? I really am a dummy on this issue. (And what is ipp: ? Into what
user interface do I type this string?

But thanks, even though I am thoroughly confused.
