If you are using Windows 2003 TS, then you should be able to map a drive
to your client machine. It's not the same thing, but it's better than
some of the alternatives. This may require CVS version of rdesktop.
From a geek perspective, I bet it wouldn't be too hard to write a
program like that. You would just use the clipboard as an IPC
mechanism... if I had a TS box anymore, that could be a fun project :-)

I'm not using 2003 currently, but will be in a matter of days.
But I am not on the LAN when I am using terminal services. So I'm skeptical that what you are suggesting would work. But maybe I just don't understand. Can you elaborate?

Unfortunately I'm not an adept enough geek yet to write a solution. Just an earnest wannabe. I'm setting up my first web access subversion repository tonight. I think that will be sufficient.
