thank you for reply, sure I'll try this.
Suppose I want to complete my debian machine  say Debmachine  from depot-machine,
does my DebMach recognize the "rpm" command in the source-list?  probably we need to specify something?

Please would you tell me how to modify the file  in DebMacine  
so /etc/apt/debian.sources.list    must contain: 
 
deb http://172.19.130.161/sarge3 sarge main contrib

and /etc/apt/redhat.sources.list

rpm http://172.19.130.161/SL1   apt os


what is the differece with what I wrote ???
