Hi,
If I want to install woody r4 kernel 2.4.18-686 (fresh installation),
which disk should I use? When I install r1, I install bf24, then
install 2.4.18-686 later. I think there is a better way to do that. Thanks!
You could try a recent debian-installer nightly build (businesscard or
netinst, whichever is smaller). The expert mode offers a choice of
debian branch. I didn't successfully boot a woody system this way, but I
think the machine in question had a hd controller unsupported by the
available woody kernels.
