Ah, apparently these db_? files are in the
"/usr/share/debconf/confmodule" library, which is part of the
"debconf" package. Check to see if this file exists, and if it has
reference to db_get in it, and what the permissions are:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2144 2005-02-04 19:16 confmodule
The confmodule permission is:
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 2144 Dec 6 16:45 confmodule
db_get () { _db_cmd "GET $@"; }
That's it, the complete file as I wouldn't know what to snip. Everything
looks OK to me, but what do I know. If you find something wrong or still
want me to reinstall debconf, please let me know.
