Hello Gene,

you're right. that method doesn't work if you're connected to the 
internet behind a NAT gateway, or maybe also if you're using a kind of 
ADSL or similar type of connection. Sorry for that. It seems to be the 
best solution to use such services on the net like whatismyip.org.
