Maybe. Are your other partitions on the sata disk also or on another disk?

I have two discs -- one IDE, one SATA. On IDE I have everything because my installation fails with LVM2. On SATA I have created one lvm.
But I want to used SATA with LVM for home, usr, var, ... Directories.
LVM is now created only on this one SATA disc.
