I was just compiling a kernel with the new kernel-source-2.4.27-8 that showed up in Sarge today. I also applied the lm-sensors and i2c patches. Incidentally, I was compiling under Woody. I got this error: i2c-amd756.c:443: parse error before `this_object_must_be_defined_as_export_objs_in_the_Makefile' i2c-amd756.c:443: warning: type defaults to `int' in declaration of `this_object_must_be_defined_as_export_objs_in_the_Makefile' i2c-amd756.c:443: warning: data definition has no type or storage class make[4]: *** [i2c-amd756.o] Error 1 make[4]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.27/drivers/i2c' make[3]: *** [_modsubdir_i2c] Error 2 make[3]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.27/drivers' make[2]: *** [_mod_drivers] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.27' make[1]: *** [stamp-build] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.27' make: *** [stamp-buildpackage] Error 2 I am wondering if anyone else has seen this before I run off and submit a bug report (there are no bugs on any of kernel-source-2.4.27, kernel-patch-2.4-lm-sensors, or kernel-patch-2.4-i2c that are related to this). -Roberto -- Roberto Sanchez http://familiasanchez.net/~sanchezr
