Hi Thought i buy mysely a new TEAC CDROM as my old one was getting a bit noisy. Problem is when i now run this command "cmp /dev/hdd /home/mark/something.iso" i get this error: cmp: /dev/hdd: Input/output error My fstab entry is the same as previous, i have tried DMA on and off as well as altering the speed of the CDROM. Any suggestions ? Mark
