just connect the lcd device and reconfigure resolutions, if you need.
and enable the lcd monitor option. your lcd screen won't damage
because of wrong resolution.
i did that my lcd, and it's still working fine :) if you will choose
the wrong resolution, it will display blury, but you will still be
able to read and reconfigure X :)
