Betreff: VLC problem
Hello,
I'm running sid and getting problems with vlc
When I'm trying to play an avi file I'm getting this error.
VLC media player 0.8.1 Janus
libhal.c 767 : org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceDoesNotExist raised
"Service "org.freedesktop.Hal" does not exist"
[00000283] mpeg_audio decoder: MPGA channels:2 samplerate:48000 bitrate:128
The program '' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)'.
(Details: serial 56 error_code 10 request_code 145 minor_code 1)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
Any clue?
Thanks
