Hi, I am wondering what is a "udeb" file? I assume this means "Ubuntu deb", is that correct? I noticed a while ago that when I built a Debian source package (from Debian, not ubuntu) produced both a regular deb and a udeb. I forget which package it was. Does anyone know if there is any essential difference between the formats? Why does Ubuntu use some .deb packages and some .udebs?
