If you want Debian, I would strongly suggest you to
wipe out Linspire entirely. I remember I tried one
time Linspire; there were an ad on google allowing me
to download a free (no cost) copy. This was a
nightmare: the install terminated by a message (error
nr: <somenumber>, please contact your retailer). After
having installing lilo myself to be able to boot it
anyway, I remark that it has wipe out my Mandrake
partition (I ran Mandrake at that time); although I
had choosen, install in a partition... not tried to go
further; don't want to see this product again...
