What happens when you run mutt -a ? you said it doesn't work, does it give an
error message?
If I press "a" it says:
Attach file ('?' for list):
if I type ".." <enter> it says:
Unable to attach ..!
but if I type "~/" <tab> I can attach something,
or "?" and select ".." to go up.
Do any of these work for you?
