Upgrading from stable to testing: Tips request
Since most of the packages I use are from the testing release, I'm going
to upgrade my system to testing.
As I have a Broadcom ethernet controller I currently use kernel-image
2.4.26-2-686-smp from woody-proposed-updates.
My server is a HP ProLiant DL140.
So I need a kernel witch supports dual Pentium4, Broadcom BCM5700 and 2G
ram (CONFIG_HIGHMEM4G=y).
Can I use 2.4.26-2-686-smp in the testing release?
What would you recommend?

Also I noticed this:

Is there anything to do about that?
As I already have testing in /etc/apt/sources.list I'll just change
/etc/apt/preferences like this:
Package: *
#Pin: release a=stable
Pin: release a=testing
Pin-Priority: 600
Then,
apt-get update; apt-get upgrade; apt-get dist-upgrade
Is that all?
