Well, if you just want a list of debian commands, try this.
ls /bin /usr/bin /sbin /usr/sbin
However, on my system that returns over 2000 commands, many of which I do
not use and probably never will.
You might have more success browsing the documentation section of Debian's
web site. Try setting some specific goals that you would like to accomplish
with your system and work towards them.

Yes, but typing "man dpkg" won't tell me what all the other Debian
commands are. Once I have a source that lists them, I can start to work
through them individually. But thanks for replying.
