MMap problem with "apt" -v 0.5.4
Hello,
I am able to download the Packages file from
"http.us.debian.org/debian testing main contrib
non-free" but it is large, about 3.1 Meg I think.
When my version of apt tries to process this list it
gives this error:
"Out of MMap memory"
or something like that. Of course, I tried to get a
newer version of apt but 0.5.4 is the latest one that
I am able to get. The newer one is in the "testing"
repository...that I can't get at.
What do I do?
Thanks,
ejd
